Thank you for a great evening at Only Connect 14, this was the first of the Only Connect events I’ve attended and I was incredibly impressed. A fantastic venue and a very diverse range of people including key decision makers made for a great evening. The social atmosphere of the event really encourages people to relax and talk about what they do with passion and interest rather than the hard sell encountered at other networking events. I look forward to Only Connect 15

A great evening and brilliant venue. Very atmospheric. Recently moved to Bristol to start my business and have found that networking has been a great way to help me develop both customers and suppliers.

I am also trying to build  a social life here too. Last night was a wonderful opportunity to do both! Can’t wait for the next event!

Just a note to thank you and your colleagues for a really excellent evening. Great venue, atmosphere, music and (super!) and canapés! Very welcoming and professional people as you came in and of course a glass of bubbly always helps to get everyone in the mood. It was a pleasure to meet you and I hope we can get together for a coffee and chat sometime as I’m sure we could be of help to each other in various ways.

I always approach Networking events with a fair degree of caution, but Only Connect seemed to offer something different, a way to avoid the droves of accountants and solicitors who saw the event as a morning away from the office.  I was right, on arrival, there were beautiful, interesting people everywhere; interesting chat, hilarious stories, great contacts, good champagne and a chocolate fountain.  As a newcomer to the Bristol professional scene, it was an incomparable way of finding out about the more eclectic, stimulating side of a tremendously interesting city and an essential way of enriching your social circle.

I was quite nervous about attending Only Connect, but the team of people who met me made me feel very welcome, very looked after and instantly connected me with people who were delightful to talk to. I loved the atmosphere, vibe and friendliness of the event and will certainly be back.  Thank you so much Jamie for inviting me.

The Christmas event was outstanding, despite the fact I attended late due to a prior engagement the opportunities to meet new people. both business and social connections, were outstanding. First time for me to meet Nick Knowles and exchange contact details towards mutually beneficial business. Tania Richards , the official event photographer has also been an extremely exciting contact, I have already used her photography services. The standard of clientele is high and conversations were non stop all evening right through to the end of the after party. I thoroughly recommend anyone to join Only Connect , I certainly will remain as a member and having experienced a number of similar events across the globe, I commend Jamie and his team for the best  Networking event I have attended.

After opening a new business in central Bristol, I was advised by a number of friends that Only Connect would be a great way of networking with the professional business community in Bristol and surrounding areas. I attended the Christmas function, making contact with many professionals whom I have now arranged meetings with to help with the roll out of our business around the UK. A fun, social able and worthwhile event.
